Budgetpromenaden

Budgetpromenaden (The Budget Walk), earlier called Partiledardebatten (The Party Leader Debate) was supposed to be a MOBA, and later turned into tower defence PVP without any towers.

Don't let the team member list fool you! People came and went, and effectively I was the only programmer on the team always present. I also had to guide some of the team in how to use Lua and Löve2D.

Cultural references

In Sweden, "Budgetpromenaden" is a short political happening where the finance minister delivers the budget proposition to the Riksdag. Delivering your team's budget seemed like a good fit thematically. However, hitting your political adversaries in order to further your own political agenda is usually frowned upon.

Half-time review

As you can see, this was our fourth combination of language and engine. Note to self: decide on this before the jam, and preferably setup a project too.

Final presentation

For some of the team's members (me included), some or most of the jam was spent installing Arch Linux and/or playing Celeste instead of programming.
